With Nicholas’ family & friends residing mainly on the East Coast and Andy’s primarily on the West Coast, we knew that no matter where we decided to get married people would need to travel. After visiting Mexico City together in 2022, we knew it would be the perfect place for our wedding. It is the perfect intersection of everything we both love and an equidistant flight from most places.

We recommend staying in one of Mexico City’s more picturesque neighborhoods, like Roma, Polanco, Coyoacán, or Condesa. These areas are safer than most cities in the United States.
As in any major city, be mindful of your belongings and watchful for pickpocketing in congested areas. We also advise using Uber over regular taxis.

We’ve found Mexico City to be incredibly affordable when compared with major US and European cities (the average cost of a 20 minute Uber ride is <$5).
For budget travelers, you can expect to spend around $30 to $50 per day in Mexico, including accommodation, food, transportation, and activities. For mid-range travelers, you can expect to spend around $80 to $150 per day, depending on your preferences and activities.

In September, average high temperatures sit between a low of 55°F and a high of 73°F. September concludes the rainy season. You can expect some afternoon showers on most days, but it rarely rains all day.

We kindly request black tie attire for the ceremony and reception on Sunday. Please feel free to come as you are for the welcome party on Friday.

While we would love for everyone to be able to bring a guest, we unfortunately don’t have enough space to accommodate that many people. However, we are extending a certain number of guest invitations. You’ll know if you are invited to bring a guest when you RSVP (it will either say the invited guest’s name listed under yours, or “guest” if we do not know who you’ll bring).
If you would be otherwise traveling alone and wish to bring someone to accompany you to Mexico City, we will happily accommodate them at the Welcome Party on Friday, September 13, but kindly request that you get a sitter for the ceremony and reception on Sunday.
-
We respectfully request that children under 16 do not attend the ceremony & reception. We have arranged for a trusted babysitter on Sunday evening for any families traveling with children.
However, we welcome your entire family to the Welcome Party on Friday.

We will arrange private transportation from Roso Guest House to and from the wedding venue for any guests who wish to use this service. A detailed schedule will be circulated and added to the website at the start of the wedding weekend.
If you wish to arrange your own transportation, Uber in Mexico City is very affordable, reliable, and widely available.
